The position We are looking for a Python Lead Engineer to help us scale our team, increase our overall data quality and boost the team's performance. We expect this to be achieved through great technical decisions on a daily basis combined with insightful a leadership style.

Your responsibilities:

Develop high-quality, well-tested and scalable code Define standards and best practices collaboratively Architecture / planning and choice of technologies / frameworks / tools Help defining company-wide processes to improve speed and quality Code reviews Mentor other developers Help other engineers in the team to grow, both technically and as people Development and maintenance of REST APIs Use Python for web scraping Strengthen the local and international Python ecosystem

Your required skill set:

Experience with Python Git Object Oriented Programming (OOP) Experience with planning and requirements gathering Experience leading successful projects Self management and organisation Working proficiency in English

Bonus:

Experience with web scraping frameworks Has worked with RabbitMQ, Elixir, SQL or No-SQL Databases Experience with infrastructure tools such as Docker and Kubernetes Knowledge in agile methodologies Experience working with open-source projects
