We are looking for Java Back-End Engineers, with Java and Rest API experience, who can help us improve our product to deliver fast, reliable and professional payment services in the U.S. and European markets to our growing customer base which already includes top players such as Facebook, AT&T, UNICEF and Western Union! You shall work in our office in Vitoria (BR) and interact with the business team in the US so having good communication skills in English is a plus.

What you’ll do: Develop clean, easy to maintain and reusable code, but also concerned with the time to market. Write stories based on technical and functional requirements. Build fast and reliable REST APIs, concerned about concurrency and performance. Work with product and design teams to understand end-user requirements and translate them into a pragmatic and effective technical solution. Build and maintain a highly scalable framework for ingesting, transforming and enhancing data at large scales. Recognize and propose solutions for handling weaknesses, performance bottlenecks and security risks. Develop unit and integration tests, reports and documentation. Perform code review and provide feedback to colleagues, taking always the best practices into account. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server logic.

Requisitos

Obrigatórios: - Degree in Computer Science or related technical field. - Excellent coding skills. It is not a problem if you master other language, but you will need to code in Java. - Experience with distributed systems and REST APIs. - Knowledge of automated tests tools and techniques. - Advanced SQL experience. - Excellent understanding of the problems with developing secure and robust applications in a SOA. - Resourceful problem-solving attitude. - Strong team spirit and good communication skills.

Diferenciais: - Knowledge in NoSQL databases, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD and AWS. - Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal).
