Back-end Developer:

We are looking for a builder, hands-on, experienced Back-end Engineer with +3 years of experience building products from scratch to join an early stage startup in the healthtech space. The market is in the United States but the work can be remote.

Methodologies:

• Test-driven development (TDD)
• Code Reviews
• Agile (SCRUM)
• Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment
• Automated & Human QA

Infrastructure & technologies:

• Go
• AWS: Lambda, DynamoDB, Cognito, SNS, SQS, ECS
• RESTful APIs
• Docker
• Travis or Jenkins

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and implement architecture and solutions for data consumption
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
• Perform tests to optimize performance
• Write clean code to develop functional web applications
• Collaborate with the front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic
• Gather and address technical and design requirements
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
